Scoolingly is a school-communication platform operated by iTsitso Space. These terms cover the Manage console (Scoolingly Team only). They sit alongside the terms for our other apps; where an app-specific term conflicts with a general one, the app-specific term applies to that app.

Terms & Conditions

By creating an account or using Scoolingly you agree to these terms. You must use the platform lawfully and only for legitimate school communication.

Authorised use only. The Manage console is restricted to approved Scoolingly Team members. Access requires platform-admin authorisation and two-factor verification at sign-in.

Duty of care. Team members act on cross-tenant data only as needed to operate, support, and protect the platform. All privileged actions are recorded in the audit log.

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, iTsitso Space is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the changes.

Privacy Policy

We process personal data to provide school communication: names, contact details, class and club membership, messages, attendance, and media you upload. We do not sell personal data.

What we do. Use your data to operate the features you see, secure accounts, meter messaging, and support schools. Access is logged and limited to operating the platform.

What we don’t do. We don’t sell your data, advertise to you, or use children’s data for profiling. We don’t share data between schools.

Processors we rely on. Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), Cloudflare R2 (media), OneSignal (push notifications), Resend (email), and Africa’s Talking (SMS). Each processes data only to deliver its part of the service.

Your rights. You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data. Parents should contact their school first for learner records; for anything else, contact us at info@scoolingly.com.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to run the app — there are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Essential cookies: your authentication session, the active school (and, in the Parent app, the active learner), your theme and language preference. The Manage console also stores a short-lived two-factor verification token.

Because these are essential to the service, they are set when you sign in. Clearing them signs you out.
